Terms of Service - Bridal Makeup & Hair Artist in Chicago

Welcome to SVETLANA ABDELA MAKEUP & HAIR LLC! By using our website and booking our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Services

We provide professional hair and makeup services both in-studio and on-location. Our offerings include:

Bridal makeup and hairstyling
Event makeup and hairstyling
Beauty consultations
Lash lift, brow shaping, and brow tinting (in-studio only)

2. Booking & Cancellation Policy

We value your time and reserve appointments exclusively for you. This policy protects both our clients and our artists.

a. Booking

All appointments must be scheduled through our online booking system. A confirmation email will be sent once your booking is successful.

b. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 48+ hours in advance: no charge
Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance: 50% cancellation fee
No-shows or same-day cancellations: 100% of service fee is charged

c. Deposit Policy

For weddings or group bookings, a non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit is applied to the final balance and is forfeited if the appointment is canceled late or missed.

d. Exceptions

We may waive cancellation fees in documented cases of:

Medical emergencies
Extreme weather (for travel bookings)
Death in the immediate family

e. Refunds

No refunds are issued for services already performed or for non-compliance with these policies.

3. Service Policies

Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in reduced service time or full charges for rescheduling.
Inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, or health concerns before your appointment.
We reserve the right to refuse service to clients displaying inappropriate or unsafe behavior.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (photos, text, branding, and design) is the property of SVETLANA ABDELA MAKEUP & HAIR LLC and may not be reused or distributed without written permission.

You may not use our name, logo, or any service marks without prior written approval.

5. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

By booking a service, you acknowledge and accept the following:

a. Allergic Reactions or Sensitivities

We are not liable for adverse reactions due to undisclosed allergies or sensitivities. Inform us in advance.

b. Dissatisfaction from Communication Issues

We are not responsible for dissatisfaction caused by unclear or incomplete communication regarding preferences or expectations.

c. Result Variability

Outcomes may vary based on:

Individual skin or hair type
Weather conditions (heat, humidity, etc.)
Product compatibility and texture

d. No Guarantee of Longevity

Although professional techniques are used, we do not guarantee makeup or hairstyle longevity under all conditions (e.g., sweating, crying, etc.).

e. Delays

We are not liable for delays caused by:

Client’s tardiness
Access issues at venue
Traffic or uncontrollable travel conditions

f. Photography & Lighting

We are not responsible for how your look appears in third-party photos or videos, which may be affected by lighting, editing, or equipment.

g. Third-Party Interference

We are not liable for results affected by other individuals modifying the work (e.g., applying makeup over ours, incorrect veil placement).

h. No Refund Policy

Due to the nature of the work, all completed services are final and non-refundable.

i. Technical Issues

We are not liable for issues due to:

Website downtime
Internet connectivity
Errors from third-party booking platforms

j. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or service failures due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, illness, accidents, etc.).

6. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Any disputes must be resolved first through mediation before litigation. By using our services, you consent to jurisdiction in Illinois.
